Warrington Cares Employee Charity
25% of all charity proceeds shall support local charities and causes directly benefiting the Warrington Community.
In 2014 a group of Warrington Township employees founded and chartered the Warrington Cares Employee Charity (WCEC). This new 501(c)(3) tax exempt charity is represented by municipal employees from all municipal departments including police, fire, public works, water/sewer, parks and township office staff. Above all the employees created this charity because we believe in the power and spirit of giving.
Warrington Cares Employee Charity (WCEC) was created to raise funds for 4 local causes: establishing a college fund for Ian Bennett, the son of deceased Police Officer Timothy J. Bennett; providing the Timothy J. Bennett and Bell Family Scholarships to graduating Warrington Township students and to make donations to other local causes deemed worthwhile by the WCEC Committee.
25% of all charity proceeds shall support Ian Bennett's College Fund.
25% of all charity proceeds shall support the Bell Family Scholarship.
25% of all charity proceeds shall support the Timothy J. Bennett Scholarship.
